10 years ago saw the commissioning of Fujairah Refinery Company Limited’s terminal expansion (27/01/10) which included 20 new tanks with a total capacity of 560,000 cubic meters and the restarting of the second Refining plant (unit 700) which is now running at the capacity of 50,000 barrels per day.

With the attendance of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and His Highness Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman of Department of Industry & Economy, and His Excellency Ian Taylor, Chairman of Vitol Corporation Limited and fellow Ministries, and distinguished guests, Fujairah Refinery Company Limited celebrated the Inauguration of Inauguration of Commissioning FRCL Terminal Expansion (27/01/10) including 20 new tanks of a total capacity of 560,000 cubic meters and restarting of the second Refining plant- unit 700 which is now running at the capacity of 50,000 barrels per day.
Fujairah Refinery Company Limited has also celebrated the new construction of the second phase of the Terminal Expansion including 4 tanks of the total capacity of 140,000 cubic meters together with pipeline connections to the newly built Oil Tanker Berth No. 2.
Fujairah Refinery Company Limited is located in a strategic position at the coast line of the Arabian Sea, taking advantage of being outside of the Strait of Hormuz. FRCL enjoys access to the Oil Tanker Berth No. 1 and the newly built Oil Tanker 2, both world class terminal facilities. FRCL has a great potential for further expansions due to the availability of prime land at the existing plot.
