The Federal Youth Authority has launched a new initiative «Youth 101», which aims to enhance national knowledge among the youth, build their knowledge base and raise their awareness on various fields. Under this initiative, the Federal Youth Authority will launch a series of courses provided by professionals and experts with the aim of raising the youth awareness and providing them with the basics of work in both public and private sector.
Her Excellency Shamma bint Sohail Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and the Chairwoman of the Federal Youth Authority, said that the initiative aims to enhance the knowledge base of youth in various national, social, and scientific topics, including humanities, foreign diplomacy, international relations, and government work. Her Excellency added that the aim of this initiative is to build a generation of young people that are aware and capable of facing life challenges through acquiring basic knowledge in the different fields.
Her Excellency Al Mazrouei stated that the Federal Youth Authority works with its strategic partners to empower young people through raising their awareness on important topics, and added that they will organize various sessions on important topics including the history of the United Arab Emirates, public policy, education, government structure as well as the future directions and vision of the UAE.
In addition, the Federal Youth Authority will launch a set of online courses through the initiative’s digital platform to allow constant interaction with the youth and ensure they benefit from these courses The platform will also enable young people to sign up for the sessions and interact directly with officials and experts in group sessions.
