Bayanihan During COVID19 by NOPTI FITS Northern Emirates
In celebration of the 122nd Philippine Independence Day- June 12, 2020, a group of teachers headed by Dr. Fermin Castillo Jr. provided food assistance to fellow teachers and volunteers.
In fighting for COVID19 we have to do our part in order to help other people in our own simple way. Big or small as long as it’s a genuine help and not hype or the like. Since March 2020, Dr. Fermin is involved in the food distribution and assistance to help fellow kababayan who lost their job because of the pandemic.
Aside from him, one of the volunteers Mr. Nelson Ternida, LPT., took part in the event as he distributed fishes to their kababayan. Mr. Ternida plays active role in the delivery of food stuff/assistance in both Fujairah and Sharjah. The NOPTI FITS Northern Emirates remains to be supportive to each one especially in this very challenging moment.
After the food distribution in the morning, Dr. Fermin prepared for a major event that showcase two of the SPLE LET 2019 TOPNOTCHERS namely Top 1 Jona Elyssa Mayrong (Elementary) and Top 2 Jacinto Gallarte (Secondary).
The special guests share their experience to a wider audience as they have listener across UAE and GCC. As the SPLE LET 2020 as per scheduled has been cancelled still the NOPTI FITS Northern Emirates are continuing their online review in order to achieved higher passing percentage.
Dr. Fermin’s FREE LET Review in Northern Emirates rapidly expanded in the GCC. In fact, he is the founder of the SPLE LET Middle East Edition (online group) that promotes and prepare future teachers for the exam.
