The village of Safad is one of the most familiar, nearby, and warmest places, where it interacts with its visitors on the first visit, opening its history books, with all the manifestations of the green color that declares itself with palm trees, nails, and sider plants.
The village is famous for its large number of palm trees, perennial sands, and a number of mountain caves that were used by the natives in the past for habitation in the rainy seasons.
In their livelihood, the People of Safad relied on raising livestock and cows, collecting wild honey from mountain caves, from the cedar and brown trees.
In addition to planting palm trees, many vegetables, fruits, wild beans, barley, tobacco and maize, depending on rainwater, valleys, and wells inside the ground. Some of the residents of Safad have relied on trade through commercial trips to Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah markets, and some have relied on some traditional and popular occupations.
