Fujairah Treasure Hunt 12th or 13th March 2021 

• Free to enter, no registration, just follow the clues
• Start 12th or 13th March. You choose the day.
• Start any time between 08h00 – 17h00.
• Everyone participating will get a free guest pass for the Fujairah Tennis & Country Club.

First clue

• There are 7 of these towers that protect Fujairah from the West

• The Spanish would say there is a ‘gran bandera’ close by and the حدائق جميلة are there to be enjoyed.

• Climb all 173 steps and look in the middle one of the seven – There you will find the link to the next clue.

• Scan the QR code to reveal the next location and your clues.

Fujairah Treasure Hunt Rules

• Fujairah Treasure Hunt is free to enter
• Clues will only be available between 08.00 and 17.00 on Friday 12^th and Saturday 13^th March 2021
• Start anytime you want and finish anytime – treasure hunting is not a race
• It is not the first to find the treasure
• All those successful hunters will receive a certificate and be entered into a raffle for the treasures. A valid email will be required upon successful completion of the 7^th clue – You will be prompted for this after scanning the final QR code
• No speeding in cars between clues
• Follow all laws of the road
• Mobile phone with internet data needed
• Not much data just enough to scan a QR code and read the next clue
• Follow current Covid health advice
• There are 7 locations to visit and find clues
• All locations are in the Central Fujairah region and involved a maximum of 30km driving.
• All clues must be visited in order and a photo taken of each clue (with a team member in) as evidence
• In the case of more than 1 person finding the treasure, then an email raffle will be held to determine the winner
• You do not need a spade to dig up the treasure – It is virtually held.
• The Treasure chest used is just for illustration purposes only
• Treasure hunters can be individual or a team
• There is a small element of walking involved but the treasure hunt it is suitable for families
• Take enough food and drink
• Make sure you have plenty of fuel in your car
• Clues will be quite easily located at their locations and descriptions available to help finding them
• No moving the clues -This will lead to automatic disqualification and your fate will be the same as those pirates
• Fujairah Observer and Fujairah Adventures (organising committee) reserve the right to change or alter any aspect of the Treasure Hunt at any time.
• The organising committee decision is final on all matters
• Competition is not open to employees or close relations of the organising committee
• Prizes to be announced on the Treasure Hunting weekend.
• A valid email address will be needed upon final submission of team name and all winners need to authenticate their hunt with photo evidence of all 7 stages
• Whatever prizes awarded, are full and final. No cash alternatives or altering of any attached conditions
• Whilst taking all reasonable precautions, the organising committee bear no responsibility for the health and safety of issues arising from the event – All individuals and teams enter at their own risk
