His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended at the launch of the first activities of the Ministry of Interior’s Golden Jubilee celebration on the Fujairah Corniche, as part of the country’s celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary, which came under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah.
The event was attended by Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Free Zone Authority, Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of the e-Government Department in Fujairah, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sharqi, Sheikh Sultan bin Saleh Al Sharqi and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Sheikh Hamad bin Saleh Al Sharqi, and HE Khalifa Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
As well by Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, police leaders in the seven emirates, senior officers of the Ministry of Interior, and a number of Fujairah directors and officials.
The celebration began with the speech of Major General Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, stressing the Ministry of Interior’s intentness to consolidate national values and unitary meanings through its participation in the state’s initiatives to celebrate the Golden Jubilee, and its keenness to enhance its role in the comprehensive development process to advance the police sector in the country.
The Golden Jubilee Parade in Fujairah has attracted thousands of people of different age groups who were keen to arrive hours before the start of the event, and who applauded warmly the amazing Al Fursan (The knights) UAE Air Force aerobatic display team.
The military parade concluded the event on the Fujairah Corniche with members of all sectors of the Ministry of Interior, organizational and security units, as well as military vehicles, police teams and military schools of the country.
