Eid al-Fitr, is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. The religious holiday is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.
When is Eid Al-Fitr 2022?
Based on the lunar cycle and Islamic calendar, the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid Al Fitr will take place between Ramadan 29 and Shawwal 3, as announced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) late on Thursday April 21.
