Fujairah Crown Prince launches ‘Al Badr’ initiative aimed at honouring story, values of Prophet Muhammad
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, highlighted the key role of initiatives and projects that affirm the values of the life and honourable legacy of the Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him, in promoting the principles of tolerance and peace within the community.
He also noted the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to educate generations acquainted with the Prophet’s story and values.
He made this statement during the launch of the “Al Badr” initiative, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed, which honours the legacy and values of the Prophet Muhammad.
The initiative also aims to encourage participation in various innovative competitions targeting all age groups around the world, with total prize money worth AED1 million.
Sheikh Mohammed said the significant attention given by the UAE’s leadership to cultural heritage and religious celebrations, which are an integral part of the region’s history, highlights their contribution to promoting the moderate values of Islam and establishing a coherent and aware community.
The initiative comprises various initiatives held throughout the year featuring local and international artistic and literary contributions expressing love for the Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH) in addition to the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday anniversary.
The initiative will also witness publications, workshops and various activities targeting all age groups aimed at spreading the values contained in the Prophet Muhammad’s noble story, as well as training programmes for its most innovative participants aimed at improving their talents.
