International Plastic Bag Free Day, celebrated on July 3, is a global initiative that aims to eliminate the use of plastic bags.
Some Emirates has imposing a 25-fils tariff for each single-use plastic bag, which is part of the UAE’s plan to gradually ban the use of some single-use plastic products by 2024.
