UAE Open Championship for Pomsa

Taekwondo Fujairah

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club (FMAC) taekwondo team were crowned champions of the UAE Open Championship for Pomsa. They snatched the title with ten gold, three silver and three bronze medals. A total of 83 points.  The competition was held on Saturday 31-12-2022 at the club’s headquarters. Under the supervision of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation 130 male and female players from various clubs in the UAE participated.

Executive Director, Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi appreciated this achievement and considered it a prelude to the following achievements in the new year. He indicated that this achievement comes within the framework of gratitude for the support of His Highness, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, President of the FMAC, in light of his sponsorship, support, and great interest in sports talents. and its achievements.

These achievements come in order to seek to obtain more points to reach the shield of excellence at the end of this sports season. FMAC has won the shield of excellence for four consecutive seasons, and the winners were crowned in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Ishaq, Technical Secretary of the UAE Taekwondo Federation.
