His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received the national fencing team members from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club. The team won several medals at the West Asian Fencing Championship, held in Jordan.
The Crown Prince congratulated the players who won two gold medals, two silver medals, and seven bronze medals, praising their honourable sporting accomplishments as well as their victory, which is a continuous motivation to achieve more success in combat games, as well as a support for the state’s position in all sports fields at the Arab and international levels.
His Highness stated: “We are proud of the nation’s youth, who have honorable achievements in sports in general, and martial arts in particular. We call on them to continue on the path of excellence so that the UAE remains among the world’s sports indicators.”
