4 medals for Fujairah Triathletes in Doha International

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s Triathlon Team secured four medals at the International Aquathlon Championship held in Doha, Qatar. The event featured 180 athletes representing the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the Fujairah champions excelled by clinching two gold medals and two bronze medals.

The championship witnessed intense competition at the Gulf level with Mohsen Hassan Al Ali triumphed in the sprint category for ages 40 to 49, and his teammate, Saif Ali Al Samahi, claimed first place in the sprint category for ages 30 to 39. Also, Muhammad Abdullah Al Yamahi and his brother Hamed Abdullah Al Yamahi earned third place and bronze medals.

Nader Abu Shawish, the Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, affirmed that the club’s athletes’ commendable results stem from the club’s dedication to their training and the successful camps in which the club’s teams participated in the previous period. He emphasized the importance of continuing the pursuit of excellence and achieving further accomplishments at both international and local levels.
