CP receives organizing committee of “Tough Mudder”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received the organizing committee of the “Tough Mudder” a global leader in obstacle course races in his office at the Emiri Court, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the objectives of the race, which was hosted by the Fujairah Adventure Centre on October 14th at Fujairah Adventure Park. Hundreds of athletes from various nationalities and age groups from within the country and abroad gathered to participate.

The Crown Prince praised the efforts of the team and the organizing committee for their organization and for attracting so many participants. He also commended the interest and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Fujairah, in sports activities that attract members of the community to sporting events which enhances the presence of the Emirate in the sports sector internationally.

The team of the organizing committee expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his support of the sporting activities in the Emirate.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Amr Zein El Din, Director of the Fujairah Adventure Centre, Nicholas Ho Cartwright, and Duncan Errol, members of the organizing committee of the race.
