Fujairah Martial Arts and Astana Taekwondo Federation sign MoU
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received Mr. Arman Shamalov, President of the Astana Taekwondo Federation, in his office at the Emiri Court.
During the meeting, Mr. Shamalov briefed His Highness on the Federation’s activities in the field of Taekwondo and its goals in developing the game at the global level.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and the Astana Taekwondo Federation. The memorandum was signed by Mr. Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and Mr. Arman Shamalov, President of the Astana Taekwondo Federation.
The Crown Prince stressed the importance of the role of partnerships in enriching sports activity in the Emirate of Fujairah, noting the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for sports in general, and martial arts sports in particular. The memorandum of understanding aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides with regard to organizing sports training camps in the Emirate of Fujairah and the city of Astana in Kazakhstan, participating in tournaments organized by both parties, and cooperating in forming joint teams in international tournaments.
