In a session held during Ramadan for the ‘Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended a lecture titled ‘Cordoba, the Capital of the World helds at the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Majlis.
The lecture, delivered by renown Emirati writer Awad bin Hasoum Al Darmaki, underscored the importance of cultural and social discussions that illuminate Islamic history and civilization.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed his appreciation for the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, for cultural initiatives. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the significance of fostering cultural awareness, particularly among youth, in terms of connecting them with their rich historical and cultural legacy. The Crown Prince highlighted how such initiatives contribute to the nation’s vision of cultural enrichment and fostering a generation well-versed in its heritage and also aligns with broader educational and cultural objectives, aiming at the well-rounded development and competitiveness on a global scale.
