The Fujairah Science Club victorious at International Science & Technology Festival
The Fujairah Science Club celebrated a triumphant victory at the International Science & Technology Festival held in Tunisia, securing two gold medals for their innovative drone and helicopter projects, alongside two silver medals for their desert watering hole and iron waste sorter projects.
The award ceremony saw the presence of dignitaries including His Excellency Bashir Attia, the Secretary General of Mahdia Province in Tunisia, and Hatem Suleiman, the President of the Tunisian Society for Science and Technology. His Excellency Dr. Saif Al-Maili, the Chairman of the Fujairah Science Club’s Board of Directors, addressed the attendees. In his speech, he commended the participants on their achievements and encouraged them to persist in their scientific inquiries and to further refine their skills and potentials.
Dr. Al-Maili highlighted the significance of the Fujairah Science Club’s involvement in such scientific events, stating that it elevates the club, its members, and its leading figures to the status of esteemed science and technology institutions. He emphasized that these participations are instrumental in forging partnerships, exploring new frontiers, and facilitating the exchange of expertise and knowledge among the attendees.
The festival was a global gathering, drawing participation from 40 countries worldwide with around 1,200 attendees, showcasing the extensive interest and collaborative spirit in the field of science and technology.
