UAE athletes to begin competition at Paris Paralympics

The UAE delegation has officially begun its participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games today, Friday, with athletes competing in cycling, shooting, and athletics.

The competition schedule features Ahmed Al Badawi in the 1000-metre race qualifiers for the C5 category in cycling, with the finals later in the day. In shooting, Aisha Al Muhairi and Aisha Al Shamsi will compete in the 10-metre Air Rifle Standing (mixed) SH2 category qualifiers, with finals set for the evening. In athletics, Noura Al Ketbi and Dhikra Al Kaabi will participate in the F32 Women’s Club Throw event.
