FMAC win 2 UAE Awards for Community Sports Events

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club secured two top positions in different categories at the UAE Award for Community Sports Events, out of a total of five competitive categories. This achievement was announced during a special ceremony organized by the General Sports Authority on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, to reveal the winners of the UAE Award for Community Sports Events in its first edition (2024-2025).

His Excellency Ghanem Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri, Director General of the General Sports Authority, attended the event and honoured the winners at the Authority’s theater, in the presence of numerous sports federation leaders.

In detail, Abdullah Rashid Salem Al Kindi, a player from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, won first place in the “Promising Young Athlete” category, while Miss Mariam Mostafa Mohammed Kamal, the club’s Quality Control Officer, earned second place in the “Active Female Athlete” category.

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club is committed to developing its staff and athletes by involving them in such competitions, as well as other sports and community events. It is worth noting that the club was previously awarded the title of “Best Influential Arab Club” and won four excellence shields last season in swimming, fencing, judo, and taekwondo.
