Triathlon Coaches Course launched in Fujairah
In the presence of prominent sports leaders and distinguished figures, the Triathlon Coaching Course was launched recently in Fujairah. The course aims to develop coaching skills and enhance the level of athletic performance in the UAE.
The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Ahmed Al Shamsi, Vice President of the UAE Triathlon Federation, and Mr. Mohsen Al Ali, Board Member, along with H.E. Abdullah Hassan Muhiyouh, Chairman of the Temporary Committee for Managing the Affairs of the Emirates Centre for Sports Sciences & Sports Medicine.
In his speech during the event, H.E. Ahmed Al Shamsi emphasized the importance of this course in enhancing coaching skills. He highlighted that the UAE Triathlon Federation places great importance on developing human resources to achieve honorable athletic accomplishments. He also extended his gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for his continuous support of the triathlon sport, and to the Fujairah Martial Arts Club for hosting this event.
H.E. Ahmed Al Shamsi expressed his appreciation for the presence of H.E. Abdullah Hassan Muhiyouh, praising his significant role in supporting sports and developing sports science and sports medicine centers in the country.
On his part, Mr. Mohsen Al Ali, Board Member of the UAE Triathlon Federation, noted that organizing this course reflects the Federation’s vision of enhancing coaching competencies and providing an environment that supports the development of coaches. He affirmed that continuous training is the foundation for creating champions and achieving success.
The course will span several days, featuring a group of experts and coaches who will deliver workshops and specialized training programs aimed at preparing a new generation of coaches capable of leading the triathlon sport to higher levels of excellence.
