International Arabian Horse Championship in Fujairah
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the role of heritage sports, especially equestrian. Its a role in reviving the national heritage of the UAE. It strengthens its position among members of the community and subsequent generations, and the need to celebrate and know it globally. This came in the presence of His Highness, the conclusion of the Fujairah International Championship for Arabian Horse in its seventh edition 2022. His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Hamid Al-Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Ajman, witnessed the conclusion of the championship and its final competitions.
His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the eldest son of the Crown Prince, attended the competitions on the second day of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship.
The final day of the tournament was attended by His Highness Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of Fujairah Culture & Media Authority, Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of Fujairah Free Zone Authority, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi.
His Highness crowned the winners of the final day of the tournament and honoured the participating referees, and the Dubai Horse Stud, winner of the Fujairah Golden Sword Award.
His Highness expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Organizing Committee of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship. He stated that in making it a success and achieving its goals, it contributes to the revitalization and enrichment of equestrian sport in the region and the world.
Also in attendance were H.E. Mohammad Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of Fujairah Emiri Court and Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Championship.
The Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship was held under the auspices of His Highness, Crown Prince of Fujairah, at Fujairah Fort from December 15th-17th. Broad participation of horse owners and stables from inside and outside the country, with a total prize pool of 4 million dirhams.
