You could be easily forgiven for not knowing where Tayiba is and more than likely you will have no idea of a beautiful little hike that is there or the Heritage Museum and the Flag Fort which, when put together gives you an easy afternoon away from the bustle of everyday life.
The museum has about half a dozen exhibit rooms. Mixed in with 200-year-old scroll holders are 1970’s televisions and much more. The curator Ahmed Ali bin Daoud Al-Abedouli has for collecting a bit of everything.
The Heritage Museum has a area for picnics, so take some snacks along with you.
