Landmarks in Fujairah: The University of Fujairah
The University of Fujairah was established as an academic institution for university education with the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah.
The university is licensed by the Ministry of Education and its academic programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation.
The university aims to provide high-quality education, graduate distinguished students in scientific knowledge, practical skills, digital applications, and professional and professional certificates, with creativity and entrepreneurship skills, and be among the employers’ choice.
The university is committed to implementing the directives of His Highness to provide a distinguished educational experience that prepares lifelong learners and leaders with integrated knowledge and skills.
With a pioneering initiative of the University’s founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Fujairah College, established in 2006, was transformed from a university college to a university in 2016, to create a university environment and distinguished educational curricula to develop the education process for students.
The university offers five bachelor’s degree programs: Business Administration (General Specialization, Human Resources Management, Banking, and Finance), Information Technology in Networks and Computer Security, Mass Communication in Public Relations, Arabic Language and Literature, and Science in Nursing. In addition to two diploma degree programs: Business Administration and Information Technology.
The university works to build a sustainable collaborative environment that enhances practical skills in its programs and promotes pioneering scientific research.
The university seeks to meet the needs of the changing labor market by offering innovative academic and professional programs, by the university’s vision and mission to enhance the capabilities and competencies of students and prepare them for entrepreneurship and innovation, to become leaders in the businesses and jobs they will practice in the future.
