Eid al-Fitr 2021 in United Arab Emirates
The holidays will be from 29th of Ramadan until the 3rd of Shawwal
Eid al-Fitr, also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” or Lesser Eid, or simply Eid, is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.
UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation also confirmed that private sector workers will a paid holiday break from Ramadan 29 until the 3rd of Shawwal.

If Ramadan lasts 29 days, the holidays will stretch across four days, from Tuesday, May 11, until Friday, May 14.
But if it lasts 30 days, workers in the country will get a five-day break from Tuesday, May 11, until Saturday, May 15.
