Discover East Coast: Wadi Madhah

This winding track is a great drive if you are in the mood for a bit of exploring. It starts by weaving its way through a narrow wadi – keep your eyes on the mountain tops to spot the old Omani fort peering down on your progress.

There is also an interesting well and a cave-dwelling a few kilometres in your right. You can turn out of the wadi after around 7Km and over the undulating, rocky plains to the top of a plateau, which has some amazingly peaceful and remote sites for camping.

Alternatively, you can stay in the wadi track for a few kilometres more of nexploring.  It’s also possible to carry on along the track on foot or by bike.
