The UAE has some of the most remarkable buildings in the world, where architects have used their imagination to stretch what is physically possible.
Capital Gate
Distinguished by its dramatic steel and glass facade and striking organic form, Capital Gate is a widely praised architectural accomplishment. Standing 160 metres tall with 35 storeys, the tower leans 16 degrees westward nearly five times more than Italy’s Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Also known as The Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, it forms the focal point of the capital Centre master development.
2010: The Guinness Book of World Records recognised Capital Gate as the world’s furthest leaning man-made tower, in January.
