Crown Prince receives Director of Fujairah Statistics Centre
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received, in his office at the Emiri Court, Dr. Ibrahim Saad, Director of the Fujairah Statistics Centre.
A 26th edition of the annual yearbook 2022 was reviewed by Sheikh Mohammed during the meeting.
He emphasized the importance of statistical projects in creating a comprehensive growth system for the Emirates.
In addition, he acknowledged the support of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, for statistical work in the emirate. The development of sustainable local and national policies depends on this.
He was then briefed about the centre’s projects and surveys, most notably the Fujairah Census 2023.
Sheikh Mohammed commended the center’s team for their work on the census project. In his remarks, he mentioned the importance of adopting best practices and technologies in statistical work.
