SalamAir Launches First Direct Flights to Fujairah International Airport
SalamAir, the low-cost carrier in the Sultanate of Oman, has launched its first direct flights to Fujairah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates. The flights will operate four times per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The launch of the Fujairah route is in line with SalamAir’s objectives of expanding its services and providing more travel options to passengers. The route will connect Fujairah with Muscat International Airport, which will in turn connect passengers to SalamAir’s 39 destinations in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
SalamAir is the first company to operate direct flights to Fujairah International Airport. The route will serve a large segment of travellers in Fujairah, Khorfakkan, Dibba, and the nearby border areas.
SalamAir currently owns 14 aircraft and will receive five new aircraft before the end of this year. The new aircraft will be used to expand SalamAir’s network and add new destinations.
The launch of the Fujairah route is a significant milestone for SalamAir and will help to boost tourism and trade between Oman and the UAE.
