Fujairah Adventure Center, new mountain trails
Fujairah Adventure Center has successfully enhanced the attractiveness of its tourism sector by adding new options represented by 10 mountain trails that include 3 levels, namely historical, recreational and sports trails, which collectively provide innovative tourism patterns and an exceptional experience for visitors to Fujairah, as they have succeeded in competing with traditional tourist attractions in terms of the number of visitors.
Amr Zeineddin, Director of the Fujairah Adventure Center, the entity supervising the “mountain trails”, confirmed that the selection of the trail sites came after an extensive study, so that they include most of the geographical areas in the emirate to highlight the tourist elements that the mountainous areas abound in, and to ensure a safe and rich experience for tourists and adventure enthusiasts.
He explained that the historical trails provide options for those who love to explore archaeological sites from castles and historical inscriptions, while the sports trails provide a suitable atmosphere for walking and cycling enthusiasts, and the recreational trails provide special trails for those who love to enjoy the nature of the mountainous areas.
He added that the trails have been equipped with the best safety and security standards, which include signboards, surveillance cameras and monitoring systems, assistance and supervision teams, noting that most of those standards are subject to supervision and follow-up by specialized supervisors.
He confirmed that the promotion of this type of tourism, which Fujairah is unique in locally, came according to a plan aimed at exploiting the emirate’s unique geographical nature of mountains and valleys, and investing in them and transforming them into integrated tourist attractions that include activities, events and places for practicing sports and services such as restaurants and mobile food vehicles and others.
On the other hand, the “Fujairah Adventure Park“, one of the most prominent destinations, is witnessing continuous updating, which has contributed to strengthening its position as one of the most prominent unique destinations that provides a unique tourist atmosphere. The park includes several activities for cycling and hiking, a jumping track for mountain bike professionals, in addition to training sites for mountain bike skills that meet the highest international standards, and a special area for children designed for training, in addition to a number of service and recreational facilities for families and families.
These sites have become a new tourist attraction for Fujairah, adding to a series of well-known attractions and attractions, led by Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Fujairah Fort, Al Bidiyah Mosque, Fujairah Museum, and other archaeological and historical sites that extend from Fujairah to Dibba Al Fujairah city.
